Are your rugs authentic Persian hand-knotted rugs?
Yes. Every rug offered by Decor by Persia is an authentic Persian hand-knotted piece, carefully selected for its craftsmanship, heritage, and quality.
Each rug is accompanied by an authenticity certificate containing relevant details about the piece, including its origin, craftsmanship, materials, and other important information that helps verify its authenticity.

What makes a hand-knotted rug different from a machine-made rug?
A hand-knotted rug is created through a traditional process where every individual knot is tied by skilled artisans by hand. This requires patience, experience, and exceptional attention to detail. Depending on the design, size, and complexity, a handmade rug can take months to complete.
Unlike machine-made rugs, every hand-knotted rug has its own personality. Slight variations in colour, texture, and pattern are part of its authenticity and make each piece unique.
A machine-made rug can reproduce a design, but a hand-knotted rug carries the story, skill, and human touch of the artisan who created it.
Are all your rugs handmade?
Our primary collection focuses on authentic hand-knotted Persian rugs and artistic rug frames created from genuine Persian textiles. Each piece is selected with a focus on craftsmanship, heritage, and artistic value.
As our collection grows, we may introduce other categories, including machine-made rugs, which will always be clearly presented separately.
What materials are your rugs made from?
Our rugs are created using carefully selected natural fibres, including:

Can I see the rug or frame before purchasing?
Absolutely. We believe that purchasing a Persian rug or artistic frame should be a personal and confident experience. Before purchase, our goal is to show you the exact piece you are interested in and share every detail that makes it special.

Do you offer custom-made rugs?
Yes. Decor by Persia offers bespoke hand-knotted rugs created according to your requirements. You can customise size, colours, design direction, and materials. Each custom rug is created with close collaboration between our team and skilled artisans.

How long does a custom rug take?
Since every custom rug is individually hand-knotted, production time depends on the size, design complexity, and materials selected. Typically, bespoke rugs require approximately 6–7 months for completion. The exact timeline will be discussed and confirmed during your consultation.

Are there revisions available for custom designs?
Yes. We understand that creating a bespoke piece requires attention to detail. We provide 1–2 design revisions before final approval so that the final artwork reflects your vision before production begins.

Do you have a minimum order requirement for custom rugs?
No. We welcome bespoke projects of different sizes and requirements. Whether you are looking for one special piece for your home or a larger interior project, we are happy to discuss your vision on our Custom Made page.
How do you ship internationally?
Decor by Persia has dedicated support through our teams in both Iran and India, allowing us to manage the process more efficiently from origin to delivery. Our aim is to make international purchasing simple, reliable, and comfortable for our clients.
All rugs and frames are carefully prepared and shipped with secure export packaging, designed to protect the artwork during international transportation.

How long does delivery take?
Since our available rugs and frames are ready to ship, delivery time depends on your country and destination. In most cases, delivery is approximately 10–15 business days. Our team will provide the relevant shipping details and updates throughout the process.

How are rugs and frames packaged for shipping?
Every piece is prepared with great care before leaving our hands. Our export packaging process is designed to protect the rug fibres, the artwork, the frame structure, and the overall condition during international transit. We carefully inspect, prepare, and secure every piece before dispatch.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept bank transfer and online TT (Telegraphic Transfer). For security and transparency, payments are made directly through official banking channels to our company account. Clients do not make payments to personal accounts, ensuring a professional and secure transaction process.
Are payments secure?
Yes. At Decor by Persia, we prioritise trust and transparency. Payments are processed through official company banking channels rather than personal accounts. This provides our clients with confidence and a secure purchasing experience.
What is your return policy?
Due to the unique and valuable nature of handmade Persian rugs and artistic pieces, returns are uncommon. To ensure complete confidence before shipping, we carefully communicate with our clients throughout the process, including sharing product details, images, videos, and packing confirmation before dispatch.

Can custom-made rugs be returned?
Custom-made rugs are created specifically according to your requirements and are therefore not eligible for return. We ensure detailed consultation, approval, and communication before production begins to make sure the final piece meets your expectations.
